About us

The CMX Luxury Standard

CMX Cinemas Daytona & IMAX is part of the CMX brand’s commitment to setting a new standard in the premium movie-going experience. We combine state-of-the-art cinematic technology with luxurious comfort and a full-service hospitality model. Our theatre is designed as an ultimate entertainment destination, offering much more than just a screening room.

Our Prime Location

We are strategically located in the vibrant ONE DAYTONA complex, directly across the street from the world-famous Daytona International Speedway. This prime location makes us easily accessible and a perfect complement to a day or evening out in Daytona Beach, providing a modern, exciting environment for both locals and visitors.

A Dedication to Immersion

The core of our offering is the commitment to immersive cinema. This is spearheaded by our massive IMAX screen and the powerful sound and image of the IMAX with Laser system, delivering movies as the filmmakers intended. Additionally, our D-Box motion seats add another dimension of action, vibrating and moving in sync with the film’s on-screen action, creating a fully engaging physical experience.

Beyond Concessions: The Kitchen and Bar

Unlike traditional cinemas, CMX Daytona features an on-site, full-service kitchen and bar. We pride ourselves on offering “real food, real cooking,” with a high-quality menu of freshly prepared meals made on the premises every day. This culinary focus ensures that dining at the movies is a delicious and satisfying part of your visit.

Our Accessibility Pledge

We strive to make the cinematic experience enjoyable for everyone. Our entire cinema is fully ADA accessible, and we provide closed captioning, assistive listening, and descriptive narration systems. Our team is trained to assist all guests, ensuring a seamless and welcoming visit for every patron.
